Typhoon signal No.3 to affect today's TurboJet services

The weather bureau at 20.15 pm last night hoisted the typhoon signal No.3 which caused the cancellation of a number of ferry services between Macau and Shenzhen today.
According to the information released by Shun Tak China Travel Ship Management, turbojet services sailing between Macau and Hong Kong ferry terminal, Macau and Hong Kong International Airport as well as Macau and Shekou will remain normal.
However, today's sailings between Macau and Shenzhen Fu Yong Airport will be cancelled in both directions with affected services at 12.15 pm departing Macau and 10.30 am departing Shenzhen.
Also, the 8.45 am ferry from Kowloon (China Hong Kong Ferrt Terminal) to Shenzhen Fu Yong has been cancelled, whilst sailings from Shenzhen to Kowloon are pending notification.
The 8.15 am and 9.30 am services from Shenzhen Fu Yong to Hong Kong International Airport have also been aborted due to the hoisting of the strong wind warning.
Meanwhile, sailings from Hong Kong International Airport to Shenzhen Fu Yong are pending notification.

According to the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG), the centre of the tropical cyclone "Kammuri" followed a pattern of movement in which winds were travelling at a range of 41 to 62 kilometres per hour with gusts of about 110 kilometres per hour.
The typhoon, as at 22:00 pm last night, was estimated to be about 210 kilometres south-east of Macau and was forecast to move north-west at around nine kilometres per hour.
Today's weather forecast shows showers with occasional heavy rain during the day.
