Gaming tax exceeds 3.2 billion patacas in November |

Macau recorded 3.2 billion patacas in direct tax income from gaming last month alone, according to the figures released yesterday by the Financial Services Bureau (DSF). The SAR's direct gaming tax income for November increased by 630 million patacas compared with October, figures showed. Direct gaming tax income for the first 11 months amounted to 36.82 billion patacas, which was 20 percent higher than the expected tax income for the whole of 2008. For the first 11 months of this year, the SAR's total public revenues stood at 47.73 billion patacas, while total expenditure recorded in the same period amounted to 19 billion patacas, leading to the overall surplus of nearly 29 billion patacas in the period. |
