A documentary TV show which is billed as an “Asian” 24, featuring the daily lives of two Asian stars Barry Cox and Ayi Jihu is planning on having its promotion in Macau, according to online sites. However the exact date and time will assumedly be announced later. The concept of the new TV show was taken from the American series “24” as its basis, which depicts the daily adventures of Jack Bauer, portrayed by American actor Keifer Sutherland. In the show, Barry Cox, a Chinese singer who was born in Liverpool, England, will play the role of Jack and will act alongside Chinese blues jazz singer Ayi Jihu. The show was produced in a form that catered to audiences across different kinds of media, said the site, adding that episodes would be sent to audiences viewing on television, on websites, or even on mobile phones. It said that the show would be divided into different episodes, and each which will be a complete story. However according to the website, the length of each of the episodes has not yet been confirmed. Adding that although the American show “24” was compacted into 24- hours adventures within an one hour episode, the “new” TV show will extend the length from one hour to three hours in one episode. It said that the success of the show was because of the uniqueness of the production team, which has completely control of the actors and actresses in each of the episodes. On the other hand, the focus of the show would also be on the two stars- Barry Cox and Ayi Jihu. |
